launchcheck.usWEBSITE CHECKER

PRIVACY & SCOPE

What happens when you check a site.

launchcheck.us inspects public websites. You do not need an account, and the application does not save scan reports. Temporary abuse-prevention counters use hashed domain identifiers.

What we request

The domain you enter is sent to our Cloudflare Worker. It queries Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver and requests public pages on the target website, including redirects, robots.txt, sitemaps and sharing-image URLs. Paths, queries and fragments from your input are omitted before the scan. Browser cookies, login details and credentials are not forwarded.

What stays in your browser

The report stays in the current page. We do not use browser storage, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or advertising. Copy and export write to your clipboard or downloads only when you choose those actions. Leaving the page clears the report; this is not a promise of secure memory erasure.

Infrastructure metadata

Cloudflare and the websites being scanned may retain normal request metadata, including IP addresses, domains, timestamps and user agents. To protect target websites, visitors share a limit of one scan per minute and 20 per rolling hour for each registrable domain, including its subdomains. Redirect and linked-resource destinations are checked too. Durable Objects store accepted-request timestamps under hashed domain identifiers; counters expire after one hour and are cleaned up by scheduled alarms. Hashing is not anonymization: known domains can be guessed. No report content or IP addresses are stored in these target counters. Cloudflare may retain infrastructure logs and storage backups under its own policies.

Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its infrastructure practices.

A bounded public snapshot

Checks run from one scanner location and DNS resolver. We do not execute page JavaScript, inspect private dashboards, certify security or verify actual search-engine indexing. A firewall, timeout or network issue can make a check unverified even when your website works in a browser.
